Annie Katherine Willis Bowen, 98, of Lawndale, passed away on Friday, January 21, 2022.

Born in Cleveland County on January 21, 1924, she was a daughter of the late John Floyd Willis and Candice Hoffman Willis. She was a homemaker and was a member of Double Shoals Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Williamson Bowen; one daughter, Judy Ann Bowen; one brother, Fred Willis and one sister, Dorothy Willis.

Survivors include two sons, Joe Bowen and wife Marty and Johnny Bowen and wife Donna all of Lawndale; one daughter, Betsy Bowen Goins and husband Todd of Sherrills Ford; six grandchildren, Kristy Weathers and husband Monroe, Michael Bowen and wife Meredith, Taylor Izokovic and husband Adam, Jamie Dills and husband Andrew, Paige Bagshaw and husband Chris and Ethan Goins and wife Sommer and seven great grandchildren, Laura Ann and Maxwell Bowen, Aaron and Austin Dills, Wynter Goins, John and Hadley Bagshaw.

The graveside service will be held on Monday, January 24, 2022 at 11:00AM at Double Shoals Baptist Church Cemetery with the Dr. Brian Johnson and Dr. Tim Elmore officiating.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
