Anthony Carl "AC" Hoover, 59, passed away on December 28, 2023 at Atrium Heath in Lincolnton, NC.

Born in Cleveland county on January 12, 1964, he was the son of Pauline Hamrick Reynolds and the late Robert Carl Hoover. In addition to his father, Tony (A.C.) is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Roland Marks Hamrick and Alice Winfree Hamrick as well as his paternal grandparents, Edmond Carl Hoover and Sarah Alice Ormand Hoover.

AC is survived by his daughter, Memorie Pauline Hoover, mother, Pauline Reynolds, sister, Tracey Hoover Brown and nieces and nephews, Sarah Alice Brown, Nicolas Carl Brown and Henry Patrick Brown. Also left to cherish his memory is a great niece, Alice Winfree Brown, aunts and uncles, God daughter, Kylee Carroll and his brothers in Christ at Gargoyles Motorcycle Club.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, January 6, 2024 in the Chapel of Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home & Crematory. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1: 00 PM - 2:00 PM. Burial will follow the service at Sunset Cemetery.
