Anthony Gene Hale, known affectionately as Tony, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2025, at Wendover Hospice House. Born in Cleveland County on July 28, 1965, Tony's life was one of quiet dedication and gentle kindness. Tony was greeted in death by his father, Eugene Richard Hale.

Tony was the cherished son of Dorothy Ann Holcombe Hale. He was a loving brother to Gina Hale Ramey and her husband, Kevin, and to James Ted Hale and his wife, Jackie. Tony took great joy in his role as an uncle and will be truly missed by numerous nieces and nephews.

After a satisfying career in textiles, Tony enjoyed his retirement fully embracing his passion as an enthusiastic Kings Mountain High School Sports fan. All who knew Tony were touched by his loving nature and his gentle demeanor. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness and a spirit cherished by all.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 9, 2025 at 11:00 AM in Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain with the Rev. Jeremy Mahaffey officiating.
