Hi! My name is Laney and I am looking for an active family to love me! I love to play! I previously did some basic agility training and was told I am very smart. I am good with kids, other dogs but sometimes I am a bit of a bully if they let me! I do like to chase cats so no felines please. Love to go on walks and hikes and love all people! I am a Retriever, Black Labrador/Shepherd mix. Laney is a wonderful girl who came to us as one of the "Superman Puppies"

Penny and Nick Melton, the wife and son of Robert Melton respectively, threw and caught the first pitch at the Crest Alumni Co-Ed Softball Showcase on August 8, 2026.

Umpires for the Crest Alumni Co-Ed Softball Showcase game were Joe Scism and Tim Centofanti. The benefit game was held for cancer patient Robert Melton.

Coy Leroy Self, 86 of David's Chapel Church Road, Lawndale passed away on Monday, August 10,2026 at Terra Bella in Shelby.
