Associate Degree nursing students pinned during special ceremony

SPINDALE - Fifty-five Foothills Nursing Consortium nursing students were awarded their pins at a special ceremony on May 10.
The Pinning Ceremony, held at The Foundation Performing Arts and Conference Center at Isothermal Community College, is the traditional graduation event for the students in the Associate Degree Nursing program. The consortium is a joint effort between Isothermal, Cleveland Community College and McDowell Technical Community College.
During the ceremony Dr. John Lattimore, dean of Business and Allied Health at CCC, presented awards. Two CCC graduates were recognized. Jennifer George was presented the Certificate of Excellence for the Foothills Nursing Consortium Academic Award for having the highest cumulative grade point average of all 55 graduates. Christy Henderson was presented the Certificate of Excellence for Student of the Year Cleveland Community College.
CCC had 18 graduates. They are: Lori Abbott, Brittany Berglund, Amanda Bodnar, Haley Dantos, Andy Dula, Regine Galleto, Jennifer George, Christy Henderson, Cathy Horne, Cara Lancaster, Keona Littlejohn, Tiffany Lowman, Laura Newton, Fehintola Olubori, Sandy Searcy, Kayley Sigmon, Lacey Smith, and David Tetteh-Ocloo.
