August Jam Invades Circle J Farms
Crimson Rose
 August Jam will take place on Friday and Saturday, August 2 and 3. The Jam is a dream come true for neighbors Ric DeLozier and Jon Jordan, who as teenagers, vowed to do a big outdoor rock concert 38 years ago. My Music Doctor will present this inaugural event of Rockhard Distributors and Circle J Farms. Gate opens at 5 p.m. on Friday with the first band on stage at 7 p.m. On Friday, bands will perform until 1 a.m. and on Saturday from 5 p.m. until 1 a.m. Circle J Farms is located at 3613 Cliffside Road, Mooresboro. There will be 15 bands performing over the two day period. Bands include: C C Rock Train; Brothers Keeper; Crimson Rose Band; D. A. D.; Pam Taylor Band; Moses Jones; Battle Axx: The Joe Davis Band; Ramsey/Loikkanen Project; Jeff Gates Band; Boobonic Chronic/AoK; Kim Truelove; Boo James and Ric DeLozier. Two day tickets are $20 in advance and are available at GOT BOOKS, 1814 E. Dixon Blvd. in Shelby. Additional information is available at 704-482-7788. It’s a bring your own seating event and free camping is also included.
