We are saddened to announce the passing of Barbara A. Wasserman, 90, on Thursday, March 16, 2023.

She was a long time member of Faith Lutheran Church of Moline, IL where she taught Sunday school for over 10 years. She retired from the Rock island Arsenal after a long career. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Florence Peters; husband, Richard Wasserman; sister, Shirley Moffitt; and daughter, Jan Willaert. Left to cherish fond memories are her sons, Rick Wasserman, Bob Wasserman and Wayne Wasserman and wife Grace, all of Shelby; son-on-law, David Willaert; grandchildren, Matt Wasserman and wife Julie Petty, Adam Willaert and Jack Wasserman; great-grandchild, Emery Wasserman; and nephew, Brad Moffitt. Funeral services will be private to the family.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Clay-Barnette Funeral Home & Aquamation Center.
