Barbara Ann Randolph, age 75, of Shelby, passed away on Friday, January 6, 2017 at the Testa Family Hospice House in Kings Mountain.
Born August 10, 1941 in Rutherford County, she was a daughter to the late George Bailey and Ruth Hardin Bailey. She was a graduate of Chase High School and attended Isothermal Community College. Barbara worked for PPG for forty-five years before retirement and was a faithful member of Goode's Grove Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, going to church and spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, Perry Lelan Randolph; four brothers, Dennis, Jake, Clifford and Roy Bailey and one granddaughter, Stevey Amanda Randolph.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Randolph and wife, Elizabeth and Steven Randolph and wife, Phyllis all of Shelby; a special friend, Connie Fite of Gaffney; three brothers, Jr., Norman, and George Bailey; two sisters, Jean Bailey and Pam Thomas, three sisters-in-law, Brenda Philbeck, Marie Sanders and Maxine Lail and brother-in-law, Roger Randolph. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Candie, Adam, Ritchie, Jessica and four great-grandchildren, Alexia, Dylan, Azarriah and Ah'mya;
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Goode's Grove Baptist Church with Reverend Robbie Hensley officiating. Interment will follow in Morning Star Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are respectively requested to Hospice of Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Height Drive, Shelby, NC 28150.
