Barbara Ann Taylor Traylor, 85, of Allendale Drive, Shelby passed away on October 2, 2025 at Atrium Health - Cleveland.

Barbara was born on November 17, 1939 in Cleveland County, NC to the late Norman Edwin Taylor and Ruth Blanton Taylor. She was retired from Ascension Insurance Company (formerly J.L. Suttle Insurance) and was a member of Lily Memorial Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Dean Traylor; brother and sister-in-law, Don and Kathy Taylor and sister, Robin Burton.

Survivors include a brother-in-law, Bill Burton of Shelby; nieces and nephews, Meredith Burton Muir (Carson), Chad Taylor (Nicole), Mark Taylor (Katrina) and four great-nieces and nephews, Zac Taylor, Logan Taylor, Landon Taylor and Lillian Taylor.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at Lily Memorial Baptist Church.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at 2:00pm with the Rev. Aubrey Folk officiating.

Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery.
