Barbara Ann Tiddy Elliott, 92, of Fallston, passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at White Oak Manor - Shelby.

Barbara was born on September 19, 1933 in Cleveland County and was a daughter of the late Roy F. and Lucille Auten Tiddy. She was retired from Fallston Baptist Church served as the secretary for over fifty years and ran the food closet. She was a lady with a servants heart, volunteering and serving as a board member for Hospice of Cleveland County for many years where she took the lead on the annual bake sale; on the board of directors for the Council on Aging; and volunteering at Fallston Elementary School. She took pride in her role as dealer chairman for the Shelby Amateur Radio Club and helping with their annual Ham Fest.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of sixty-four years, Jean Yancey Elliott; and infant son; three brothers, Roy F. Teddy, Jr, Junius Auten Teddy; and James E. Teddy; and a sister, Betty T. Moore.

Barbara is survived by her beloved daughter, Jeanie Elmore of Fallston; two adored grandchildren, Elliott Newton and wife Tonya and Carrie Timms and husband Joshua all of Fallston; five great grandchildren, Austin Newton, Cash Timms, Ellie Timms, Aaliyah Sain and Trevor Watts; and special friends Chris Clark and Melissa Causby.

The family will receive friends on Monday, November 24, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM in the Fallston Baptist Church Family Life Center.

A funeral service will be held on 2:00 PM on Monday, November 24, 2025, at Fallston Baptist Church with the Rev. Terry Moore-Painter officiating.

Burial will follow at church cemetery.
