Barbara (Bobbi) Jean Goodman, 58, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, April 15, 2021.
Bobbi was born in Catawba County, on October 15, 1962. She is a 1980 graduate of Burns High School and a 2010 graduate of Devine Healthcare LLC. She worked for many years as a CNA II for Hospice of Cleveland County and other various health agencies. She was a member of Knob Creek United Methodist Church in Belwood. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her beloved pets, Jake and Berco.
Bobbi is preceded in death by her father, Larry Goodman; her grandparents, William Roy Goodman, Fannie Jane Goodman, Lucy Goodman, William Plato Swink, Francis Swink and Sarah Lou Swink.
She is survived by her mother, Jeanette Goodman of St. Louis, MO; her brother, Ken Goodman Jr. and wife Lori of Belwood; her sister, Brenda Vargas and husband Felix of Belwood; three nephews, Joe Vargas and wife Mandy of Belwood, Kristopher Goodman of Shelby and Matthew Goodman of Seattle, WA; two nieces, Alicia Garren and husband Michael of Belwood and Emily Willis and husband Jesse of Vale; two great nieces, Bella Garren and Kimber Garren and one great nephew Lincoln Garren.
The family will be receiving friends at the home of Brenda and Felix Vargas.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00PM on Sunday April 18, 2021 at Knob Creek United Methodist Church with the Revs. Brian Elwell and Jason Elmore officiating.
