Belinda Joyce Wall McMurry, 65, of Matthews, passed away on Friday, April 2, 2021 at Hospice House of Union County, Monroe.
Born in Robeson County, on December 30, 1955, she was the daughter of the late John Junior Wall and Evelyn Joyce Martin Wall. She was a devout Christian and attended the Central Church of God Charlotte. She was an elementary school teacher with Cleveland County Schools and taught Drivers Ed in Mecklenburg and Lincoln Counties.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her stepmother, Norma Jean Wall.
She is survived by her son Garrett Thomas and wife Brandy of Gastonia; daughter, Dana Robinson and husband Sean of Harrisburg; sister, Karen Quein of Charlotte; step-sister, Teresa Owens of Shelby; grandchildren, Elijah Thomas, Abigail Thomas and Ava Robinson; and two nephews, Eddie Quein and Brian Quein and wife Megan.
Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Wednesday at Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday at Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church with Rev. Eddie Padgett officiating.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, masks and social distancing will be required.
