Benjamin "Benji" Kyle Botts, age 31, passed away on March 15, 2021 at Piedmont Regional Medical Center.

Born in Gaston County on July 21, 1989, he was the son of Scott Botts and wife Lynne Jarman Botts of McAdenville. He was employed with AAA in Fort Mill, SC and a graduate of the Class of 2008 at North Gaston High School. Benji will always be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, brother, son and friend.

In addition to his parents Benji is survived by his wife Ariel Candice Botts, his son Leland Botts, both of Cherryville, as well as one brother Brandon Botts and wife Tiffany of Greenville, SC, as well as many beloved friends and extended family members.

Memorial service will be held at 12:00 pm Monday, March 22, 2021 in the Chapel of Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.

It is requested that those in attendance wear face coverings and practice social distancing.
