Bennie Mills Stinson, 74, of Connelly Springs passed away on Saturday, March
4, 2017.

Born February 26, 1943 in Mecklenburg County. He was the son of Young Walker
Stinson and Tobitha Jane Jones Stinson. He was retired from Ryder Truck
Rental and Family Dollar Trucking as a Maintenance Manager. He was a member
of Huntersville American Legion and Casar United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Diane Barr Stinson of the home; two
daughters, Leslie Gerwitz and husband Karl of Mooresville and Jennifer
Broome of Indian Trail; son, Phillip Broome of Charlotte; two grandsons,
Harris Walker Gerwitz and Carter Mills Gerwitz.

A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, March 11 at Casar United
Methodist Church with Rev. Bill Lovelace officiating.
