Betsy Joyce Sigmon Morrison, 79, of Cherryville, passed away on Friday, August 27, 2021 at Atrium Health - Lincoln.

Born in Lincoln County, on October 27, 1941 , she was the daughter of the late James Blaine Sigmon and Martha Knight Sigmon. She was retired from Carolina Freight Carriers and a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her two brother Fred and Wyle Sigmon and sister Frances Lingerfelt.

She is survived by her husband of fifty-seven year Glenn Arlo Morrison; son, Jerry Morrison; and a brother, Rev. Steve Sigmon of Lincolnton.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Bethlehem United Methodist Church.

A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Bethlehem United Methodist Church.
