Betty Bowen Wright, 86, passed away February 8, 2022.

A native of Cleveland Co., she was born to the late Lee and Lizzie Ellis Bowen. In addition to her parents, Betty was also preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Clarence Wright.

Betty is survived by her daughters Connie Lovelace and husband Richard of Grover, Kay Fulton and husband Gene of Spartanburg SC, Debbie Moore and husband Robbie of Grover, Gail Wright of Grover, grandchildren Brad Lovelace, Chris Hale and wife Jennifer, Josh Moore, Jeremiah Moore and wife Danielle, Justin Moore and wife Amy, Kayce Lane and husband Nic and Katie Fulton, 9 great grandchildren, sisters Brenda Whitworth, Janice Carter and Becky Dover and brothers Ricky and David Bowen.

Betty was an avid gardener and seamstress. She was a member of Allen Memorial Baptist Church where in her younger years she taught Sunday School.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday February 12, 2022 in The Chapel of Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home & Crematory, Rev. Reese English, officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Allen Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery
