KINGS MOUNTAIN- Betty Dover Davis, 75, died Saturday, June 16, 2018, at CaroMont Health in Gastonia. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late James and Ester Deaton Dover. She had a love for sewing, gardening, fishing, and going to flea markets.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Randy Dover

SURVIVED: She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Jarvis "Wade" Davis, of the home; son, Terry Davis of Grover, and Jimmy Davis of Kings Mountain; daughter, Felicia Burnett and husband Kyle of Spartanburg, SC; sisters, Pat Jones of Rutherfordton, Freida Feigel of Miss., Kay Neisler and husband Chuck of Spartanburg, SC., and Kathy Auton of Miss.; brothers, Jerry Dover and wife Judy of Boiling Springs, and Lonnie Dover of Miss; grandchildren, Robbie Davis and wife Jessica of Cherryville, and Michelle Davis of Grover; great-great granddaughter, Hattie Mae Davis; special friend, Valarie Tuttle of Kings Mountain; and her beloved dog, Boyd, and cat, Perry.

FUNERAL SERVICES: Funeral services will be held 2pm, Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel in Kings Mountain. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.

OFFICIATING: Rev. Richard Stroup will officiate

BURIAL: A private burial will follow in Mountain Rest Cemetery
