Betty Elaine Neason Whisnant Morrison, 91 of Casar Drive, Lawndale, passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Hospice at Wendover in Shelby.

Born in Lincoln County, on April 23, 1930, she was the daughter of the late John Joesph "Jody" Neason and Louella Neal Neason. She was co-owner and operator of Flowers Unlimited and was a member of Polkville United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by an infant brother.

Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Dennis Larry Morrison; two sons, Donald Whisnant Jr. and wife, Nita of Lawndale and David Whisnant and wife, Lois of Lawndale; daughter, Elaine Wilson and husband, Paul of Lawndale; stepchildren, Dennis Morrison, Cissy Allen and husband, Larry and Melanie Humphries; 9 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren 2 step-great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

The family will hold private services at a later date.
