Betty Jean Ledbetter, age 85, of Cliffside, passed away Monday, October 16, 2017 at her residence.
Born February 28, 1932 in Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Gaither Hawkins and Fannie Harris Hawkins. She loved making quilts for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Hattie Pearson and Sue McSwain.
Those left to cherish her memory include three children, Donna Larch and husband Larry of Boiling Springs, SC, Janice Faucett of the home, and Gerry Ledbetter and wife Lesa of West Minister, NC. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at Harriett Free Will Baptist Church. Interment will follow the service at Cliffside Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the church.
