Beverly Bradshaw, 59, of Shelby, passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday, February 16, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was surrounded by her devoted wife and family. Beverly was a cherished person who was known for her kind, loving, caring, and humorous personality, which made her a perfect fit for her job at UPS. She found satisfaction in her work and cherished her coworkers and customers, as if they were her family. Beverly was known for her exceptional ability to connect with others and will be fondly remembered for her appreciation of people, animals, and nature.

She is preceded in death by her parents Rex Bradshaw and Judy Morris, stepfather, Carl Morris, brother, Boyd Bradshaw, grandparents, Thomas Goodnight Brown and Helen Max Brown, and sister-in-law, Haley Inman.

Beverly is survived by her wife and soulmate of 36 years, Yvonne Sullivan, two fur babies, Angus, who was like her sweet little shadow and her playful and talkative ball of fur, Agnes. Her sister-in-law, Yevette, and her husband, David Henry of Canton. Additionally, her nieces Shantel, Whitney, Chasity, Lanie, and multiple great-nieces and nephews. All will cherish her memories.

A funeral service is planned for Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 2:00PM at Cecil Burton Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be held Sunday, February 23, 2025, at 2:00PM at Saunook Plott Cemetery in Saunook, North Carolina.
