Beverly Jenkins Brannon of Blacksburg, SC, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, January 5, 2024. She was 77 years old.

She was born on December 9, 1946, in Gaffney SC, the only child to the late Carl Charles Jenkins and Geneva Moss Jenkins, both of Blacksburg, SC.

Beverly is preceded in death by her parents. Left to grieve, her absence from her earthly home are her loving aunts, Shirley Moss Owens of Lake Wylie SC, and Brenda Moss of Blacksburg SC; cousins, Carlene Enfinger of Monroe, GA; Jamie Allen of Grover, NC; Don Young, of Independence, VA; Jerry Young, of Independence, VA; Gena Kanode, of Salem VA; Susan Furr, of Indian Trail, NC; Gay Woods, of Gaffney, SC; Debbie Patterson, of Blacksburg, SC; Alvin Moss, of Gaffney, SC; Tony Moss, of Blacksburg, SC; and Mike Moss, of Gaffney, SC; and their families whom Beverly loved dearly.

Beverly graduated from Blacksburg High School and attended Limestone College in Gaffney, SC, before leaving Blacksburg for Charlotte where she lived and worked for many years. She returned to her hometown, here in Blacksburg, to help care for her parents.

Beverly was a stunning lady with beautiful red hair, a welcoming smile, and a twinkle in her eyes. She had a caring nature that radiated from her inner beauty. And a contagious laugh that she shared with everyone. Beverly grew up with a large loving family. She was so loved and will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

Beverly leaves behind a legacy of enjoying the simple things in life, loving her family, and sharing her rock-solid faith in Jesus Christ.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 9th, 2024 from 2:00-3:00 pm at Broad River Baptist Church, 419 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, SC. Funeral services will immediately follow at 3:00 pm at the church. Interment will be at Clingman Memorial Gardens, 1219 East Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, SC 29702 with Rev. Danny Meetze officiating. David Benton, Butch Blanton, Malachi Ford, Brian Wilson, and Donovan Ford will serve as pallbearers.
