Bible Study: This is My Tabernacle
One of the Disciples would write about himself as a Tabernacle of a Tabernacle for the Lord. We would never think about doing that. Why not a church, since church is a common name today. We as a single person should try to fill the building with more Saved Tabernacles. Is that not the aim of the Preacher? Or at least it should be. To get them started toward heaven is why the church is built isn’t it? As I grow older I seem to think that the church building has moved toward just a meeting place to gossip a while. This Tabernacle can get hungry for a good Amen Worship Service. It feels good when told that we had a good service. The preacher never  did get to preach, so soon he turned his tablenacle lose and enjoyed the service. The writer has been in a few services like that. In one Service up in the country the alter call lasted over an hour. I and another friend was just visiting. We had been invited, and on the way home we both said that we were very glad that we went. Both tablernacles were feeling fine. Yes the Holy Spirit was there and you could feel it stronger at times. Now, ask the question, did our tabernacles grow? Sure they did, and held on for a long time.
2 Peter 1:14 says “Knowing that shortly I must put off this my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath shewed me.”
