 Big Chill 2011 Attendees...
Returning this year is the opportunity to play Texas Hold’em. This was a hit last year with attendees as they played for a chance to win prizes donated by local businesses. Players must sign-up in advance for the tournament to participate. Two tournaments will be held and a $20 donation (in addition to admission ticket) is required to participate in each tournament.
The Grand Prize Raffle this year is the chance to win a red, 1998 Mercedes-Benz SLK-230 Roadster. This beautiful 4 cylinder, supercharged sports car has been donated by Don and Emily Yelton and is in mint condition. Only 100 Grand Prize Raffle tickets will be sold for $50 (limit 5 per person). Tickets are on sale now at the Arts Center and the winner doesn’t have to be present to win.
New and unique items will be available to bid on in the silent auction, such as a private 2 hour flight which takes off from the Shelby Airport, pottery and other artwork, jewelry, clothing, gift certificates for restaurants, massages, health clubs and more.
The Board of Directors and volunteers for the Arts Council will host this special fund raising event. The admission is $30 in advance or $35 at the door and all proceeds help to support the programs and events of the Cleveland County Arts Council. Admission tickets include $50 worth of “Casino Money” and heavy hors d’oeuvres.
