Mr. Billy H. Poston, affectionately known as "Paw Paw Bill," was born on July 12, 1939, in Cleveland County, NC, to the late Arnette Poston Johnson (Emerson) and Isiah "Zeke" Williams. He peacefully transitioned from this life on September 17, 2025 at Atrium Health.

Billy leaves to celebrate his legacy his beloved children, Billie Poston Jr., David Poston (Patricia), Debra Poston Thurman (Donnie Sr.), Dennis Poston (Rosalyn), Rodney Poston, Latonya Poston Hardy, and Cal Dean Littlejohn; a proud Paw Paw to grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a great-great grandchild;siblings, Steven Johnson (Gail), Patricia Johnson Wilson, and Lois Williams Watson; along with many nieces, nephews, family, and friendswho loved him dearly.

Services were held on September 27, 2025, at Palmer Grove Baptist Church with the burial in the church cemetery.
