Bobby Gene Sigmon, 68, of Shelby, passed away Saturday, December 8, 2018 at
Atrium Health - Cleveland in Shelby.

Born December 22, 1949 in Cleveland County, he was a son of the late John
Walter Sigmon and Texie Buff Sigmon. He was retired from Henredon Furniture
and was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Pearlie
Lee Sigmon; an infant brother and two sisters, Louise Hudson and Sue Pruitt.

Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Cynthia Ward Sigman; two sons,
Matthew Sigman and Donald Sigman both f the home and nine nieces and
nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at
Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home, Fallston.

The funeral service will be held on Friday at 2:00 PM at Zion Hill Baptist
Church with the Rev. Allan Barlow and Rev. Michael Lewis officiating. The
body will be placed in the church thirty mintues before the service.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
