MOORESBORO: Bobby "Joe" Hamrick, 84, died Sunday, May 6, 2018 at his home. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Buren and Grace Robinson Hamrick. Joe was an Army Veteran, and an avid cowboy at heart. He loved his family and Lord.

PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife Elizabeth "lib" Hamrick

SURVIVED: He is survived by his daughter, Teresa Hamrick; son, Tony Hamrick, both of Mooresboro; sisters, Louise Harris Ellenboro, Daisy Wylie and husband Paul Shelby, Elsie Dixon and husband Calvin, and Evelyn Walker and husband Pete, all of Mooresboro; brothers, Charles Hamrick and wife Katie, and Jimmy Hamrick, all of Mooresboro; grandchildren, Heather Bratton, Stephanie Elkout and husband Ayman, Brandon Godfrey and fiancée Brandy Allen, Cameron Hamrick and wife Elizabeth; great-grandchildren, Tristen Perry, Jada Elkout, Kadin Elkout, Isabella Hoffman, Zaid Elkout, Maddox Elkout, Laythe Elkout, Zoey Elkout, and Peyton Joe Godfrey; and special caregiver, Sarice "Reese" Mickles.

FUNERAL SERVICES: Funeral services will be held at 5:00 PM, Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour, prior to the service, at the church.

OFFICIATING: Rev. Kevin Hamrick

BURIAL: will follow the service in the church cemetery.
