Bobby Lawrence Kinney, age 80, passed away Sunday March 24, 2019 at his home.

Bobby was a native of Rutherford County, a retire textile employee, member of Shingle Hollow Congregational Holiness Church and an accomplished musician.

Preceding him in death are his wife Brenda Kinney and his parents Reid and Cordia Crain Kinney.

Left to cherish his memories are his children Brian (Cindy) Kinney of Murraysville, Ga., Joe Kinney of Forest City, Danny Harrison of Greenville, SC; brothers Titus (Eartha) Kinney and Albert (Carolyn) Kinney of Mooresboro and sister Mildred (Merrill) Arrowood of Rutherfordton as well as 6 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Tuesday March 26 at Shingle Hollow Congregational Holiness Church with the Rev. Jamie Pascarella and Rev. Jack Crain officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Monday at Crowe's Mortuary in Rutherfordton.
