Bonita Taylor Spurling, 71, of Harbor Point Drive, Cherryville, passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at Cleveland Pines Nursing Center, Shelby.
Born in Buncombe County, NC on December 22, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Winford Parker Taylor and Clyta Anderson Taylor. Mrs. Spurling was retired from Duke Energy.
Survivors include her husband of 18 years, Ellis "Dickie" Spurling, Jr.; two stepdaughters, Julia Spurling Register and husband, Scott of Huntersville and Angela Spurling Brooks and husband, Kevin of Double Shoals; four step-grandchildren, Collin Register, Mira Register, Avery Brooks and Rhett Brooks; a sister, Debbie Taylor and her children, Casey and Christopher Grumaldy all of North Carolina.
A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Rose Hill Memorial Park with the Rev. David Blanton officiating.
