Book Exhibit now open at the Museum!

Kings Mountain Historical Museum's new exhibit Books: Stories that Shape Us is now open to the public! Books tell stories within their covers, but they also tell stories outside of them--stories about who owned them, how they were used, why they were used. There is great power in the written word to shape minds and influence actions; that power comes from those outside stories that determine the words on the page. The stories within a book and the stories surrounding it can tell us a lot about a person and a community. Come and explore some of the history that shapes Kings Mountain through the stories of books. Fun for book lovers and all who love stories there are books from well-beloved classics to books written by local authors on display.
Regular hours are Tuesday-Saturday 10am-4pm. Admission is free! Be sure to look on the website and follow us on Facebook (@KMHistoricalMuseum) to find out about upcoming events!
