Boy & Cub Scouts Collect Over 6,000 lbs. Of Goods

Gentlemen from the Master’s House received a years supply of goods that were gathered and donated by the scouts.
Boy Scout leaders, Al Hansen, Jim Myers, Carl Anderson, Steve Putnam, and Wes Stevens got their 32 scout members involved again in this year’s annual food drive. This is the fifth year that the Boy and Cub Scouts from First Baptist Church in Shelby have participated. Over 6,000 lbs. of food and goods was collected and given to the Master’s House. The Master’s House is a Christian home for men, that pride themselves in going the second mile for Christ.
