Boyce C. Robinson, age 80, of Hopper Road, Forest City, passed away Friday, June 2, 2017 at the White Oak Manor in Rutherfordton.
Born June 23, 1936 in Spartanburg County, he was a son to the late Clarence Robinson and Vinnie Kimbrell Robinson Aldridge. He worked for Stonecutter Mill, General Fireproofing and in construction for many years. Boyce also was a buffalo rancher and a member of Victory Baptist Church in Spindale. He enjoyed watching westerns, pro-wrestling and NASCAR.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Jabe Aldridge; four brothers and two sisters.
Those left to cherish his memory include three daughters, Sandra Ivey of Gaffney, SC, Teresa Belk and husband, Eric of Forest City and Alice Self and husband, Ricky also of Forest City. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Billy Hutchins, David Hutchins, Jonathan Robinson, Jennifer Dixon, Chris Self, Keith Self and seven great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 5, 2017 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Ernie Cole officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior the service at the funeral home. Interment will be private for the family.
