Blacksburg -- Brandon Mark Tallent Sr., 35, of 240 Deana Lane, passed away on Friday, September 9th, 2022, at Gaffney Medical Center.

Born in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of Gail Hammett Tallent and the late Mark Tallent. Brandon formerly did tree work and attended the Cherokee Gospel Tabernacle. He also loved hunting, fishing, and being outdoors.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Tallent is survived by a brother, Lee Tallent and fiance, Hannah Arrowood, of Cowpens, two sisters, Kelly Brown and husband, Andy, of Inman, and Sadie Tallent of Georgia, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Brandon was preceded in death by his father and his son, Brandon Mark "Little Man" Tallent Jr.

The family will receive friends on Monday, September 19, 2022, from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm at Gordon Mortuary. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 20th, 2022, at 4:00 pm in the Gordon Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Richard Sellars officiating.
