Brenda Etta Crotts Jones, 74 of E. Sanders Road, Shelby, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at Atrium Health - Cleveland.

Born in Cleveland County, NC on December 1, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Edgar Crotts and Arno Cora Spake Crotts. She was retired from Drexel Furniture and Cleveland Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Jones was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Edwin Jones; brother, A.C. Crotts and two sisters, Willard Walker and Carol Crotts.

Survivors include two sons, Phillip Jones and wife, Misty of Pinnacle and Chad Jones and wife, Melissa of Shelby; four grandchildren, Matthew Jones, Ryan Jones, Connor Jones and Mackenzie Jones and a brother, Dwight Crotts and wife, Katherine of Casar.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 8, 2022 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 11:00AM at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel.

The burial will follow the service in the Rose Hill Memorial Park.
