Cherryville - Mrs. Brenda Hartman Holt, 78, of Delview Road, passed away on
Thursday, February 14, 2019 at Carolina Care Health and Rehabilitation in
Cherryville.

Brenda was born on October 11, 1940 a daughter of the late Dewey Hartman and
Lucy Walker Hartman. She was a hairdresser and retired from Keystone
Powdered Metal as an inspector. Brenda was a member of First Baptist Church
in Cherryville. She loved her Lord and adored her family. Brenda was a kind
and generous person who always sacrificed for her children. She also
enjoyed history, British comedy and her kittens.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert
L. "Bob" Holt, Sr. and a brother, Burl Hartman.

Survivors include two daughters, Shayne Turner and husband Robert of Crouse;
Bobbi Ballard and husband Chris; two sons, Lance Holt and Curtis Holt and
wife Wendy all of Cherryville; grandchildren, Bret Turner (Marci), Ross
Turner (Danielle), Colton Ballard (Anna), Caleb Ballard, Chloe Holt, Hallie
Holt and Walker Holt; great grandchildren, Landrum Turner, Michael Turner,
Dixie Jenkins and Gabe Javier; sister-in-laws, Screttia Hartman; Ann Walker
(Jerry).

Visitation will be from 1:45PM to 2:45PM on Sunday, February 17, 2019 at
First Baptist Church in Cherryville and at other times at the home of Shayne
and Robert Turner, 140 Wesley Court, Crouse, NC 28033.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00PM on Sunday, February 17, 2019 at
First Baptist Church with Dr. Vince Hefner officiating.

Burial will be private.
