Brenda Huss Dellinger

Brenda Huss Dellinger, affectionately known as Brenda, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2024, in Cleveland County.

Born on September 7, 1939, in Lincoln County, Brenda's warmth and generosity touched many throughout her 85 years.

Brenda's legacy is carried on by her devoted husband of sixty-three years, Wyatt Dellinger; her son, Nelson Dellinger, and his wife, Jamie; her daughter, Dianne Parkhurst, and her husband, Steve. Her joy was multiplied by her grandsons, Spencer Parkhurst and his partner, Brandi, and Alex Parkhurst and his wife, Megan. Brenda is also survived by her sister, Marcene Wright, her niece Tonya and husband Keith Carpenter, with two sons and a daughter, their spouses, and five grandsons.

As the owner and operator of SDF Fashions, Brenda provided scrubs for many medical students in the area. She loved Jesus, her family, and her friends; she also loved to cook, bake, and make sure her loved ones were well fed. Brenda will be remembered as a generous and loving soul, whose kindness was felt by all who knew her. She leaves behind a tapestry of cherished memories and a community enriched by her presence.

The family will receive friends and family on Saturday, November 2, 2024, from 11:30 PM to 12:45 PM at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home in Fallston.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM in the Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Artie Hubbard officiating.
