Brenda Lee Cook, 62, of 4126 Polkville Road, Shelby, passed away Sunday,
February 5, 2017 at Carolinas HealthCare System - Cleveland in Shelby.

Born in Cleveland County on May 16, 1954, to Brady Lee Cook of Shelby and
the late Nancy Jane Hastings Cook. She was retired from Cleveland County
School System as a cafeteria worker and was a member of Oak Grove Baptist
Church.

In addition to her father she is survived by her son, Nathan Cook of Hawaii;
a brother, David Cook of Polkville; a sister Cindy McCraw and husband Scott
of Shelby, nephew, Chris McCraw and wife Morgan of Shelby; and great nephew
Gunner McCraw of Shelby.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10:00 Am to 11:00 Am at
Oak Grove Baptist Church.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM Oak Grove Baptist
Church with Rev. Mark Vanbeuren officiating.
