Brenda Lee George Kinney age 74 went home to be with The Lord on July 22, 2016 while being cared for at Hospice House in Forest City. A native of Guilford County North Carolina she is a daughter of Willie Lee and Margaret Jernigan George and attended of Shingle Hollow Congregational Church.

She is survived by her loving husband Bobby Lawrence Kinney of the home, children Danny Ray Harrison of Greenville, SC; Ricky Dale Harrison of Lexington, NC; Ronnie Lee Harrison of Thomasville, NC; Joe Kinney of Forest City, NC; Brian Lee Kinney of Gainesville, GA; one brother Charles George of High Point, NC; thirteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a number of other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a brother Roger George and grandchildren Lenora Harrison, Marvin Kinney, Mattox Kinney, Madden Kinney, Mason Kinney and Micah Kinney.

The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 PM Sunday July 24, 2016 at Crowe's Mortuary. The funeral will be held 11 AM Monday July 25, 2016 at Shingle Hollow Congregational Holiness Church with Rev. Jack Crain officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
