Brenda Rollins Latham, age 78, passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, September 30, 2020.

She is survived by her husband, Billy Dean Latham, two daughters, Deana Matamoros and Karen Good, six grandchildren, Cole Good, Mia Good, Cody Matamoros, Kaidy Matamoros, Kailyn Matamoros, and Calyssa Matamoros, all of Shelby, NC, three sisters, JoAnn Hewitt, Gail Trunk, Wanda Conner, and a brother, Ted Rollins.

Born in Cleveland County, NC on June 6, 1942, Brenda was the daughter of the late Daniel and Vesta Henderson Rollins. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Jack Rollins, Don Rollins, Dale Rollins, and a sister, Margaret Babnew.

Brenda worked at Cleveland Memorial Hospital for over 20 years as an Emergency Room receptionist. She collected dolls and loved to bargain shop for anything that was a good deal. Brenda liked to redecorate and was always on the go. She had a big heart and would help anyone in need. She was loved by her family, and enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren.

Due to COVID-19 the family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
