Bridie Dara Buff Upchurch (Penny)

Bridie Dara Buff Upchurch (Penny) of Gaffney SC. Fell asleep in death on June 08,2024 at her residence in Gaffney, SC.

Born on September 14, 1957, to the late Charles Edward Buff and Hazel Louise Allen, Bridie's life was a testament to kindness, compassion, and devotion.

Affectionately known as Penny to her friends as Penny and Maw maw by her cherished grandchildren, Bridie's presence was a source of warmth and comfort to all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Her laughter and gentle spirit will be profoundly missed by her family, including her mother, Hazel Louise Allen; her daughter, Christi Armstrong and son-in-law, Johnny Armstrong; her beloved grandchildren, Destiny, Dameon, and Triston Armstrong of Shelby, NC; and her son, Johnathan Tabor, his fiancée, Addie Scaver, and grandson, Hunter.

Bridie's life was a beautiful reflection of her loving nature and her deep, abiding faith. Her kindness extended beyond her family, touching the lives of everyone she met with her gentle words and selfless acts.

As a devoted mother and grandmother, Bridie's greatest joy came from the moments she spent surrounded by her family. Her guidance and wisdom were the cornerstones upon which her children and grandchildren built their lives. Her unwavering support and unconditional love created an unbreakable bond that will continue to live on in their hearts.

Bridie's interests and passions were many, but none so much as the times spent in the company of her family and friends. Her ability to create a welcoming and nurturing environment was unparalleled, making every gathering a memorable one. Her legacy of love and faithfulness will continue to inspire those who knew her, and her memory will be cherished forever.

Our Family would Iike to thank all of our extended family (the Christian Congregation) for the extra ordinary love and support they provided us during this difficult time.

Memorial services held on June 22,24 at 3pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Shelby NC.
