The first annual Broad River Race Day will be Sunday, April 14, 2019. Participants are encouraged to "Race" at your own pace, 5 miles on the most beautiful stretch of the Broad. Remember, the hare may not out run the tortoise!
Meet up at Lake Hauser at 12:45 sharp to drop off boats.
Then we will take vehicles to the Broad River Greenway and get a shuttle back to the put in. [If you don't have a Greenway sticker, may have a $5 parking fee.]
Turtle drops at 2:00.
And we're off to paddle or just float at your own pace.

Two Rules:
• wear a life jacket
• no motors
Paddle solo, tandem, 4 in your boat if it's long enough!
First, or first team, across the finish line wins a MountainTrue gift bag and takes possession of the Turtle until next year's race.
Bring water, snacks, a towel, and dry clothes.
First 20 to preregister, by April 5, get a t-shirt for $12.
