Broadus Bell, 88, passed away January 24, 2022. A native of Rutherford Co., he was born to the late Marshall and Sillier Hudgins Bell.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his daughter Julie Power, sister Pauline Ernie and brother Junior Bell. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Katie Wilson Bell, of the home, son Kent Bell and wife Darlene of Cherryville, grandchildren Jordan Boggs and husband Drew of Ocean Isles, NC, Corey Power of Cherryville, Tomorrow Summey and husband Tim of Shelby, Brittany Kiser and husband Caleb of Hendersonville, greatgrandchildren Emmi Jo, Wesson and Lily.

Broadus proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a dedicated member of Buffalo Baptist Church. He loved working with his tractor on his farm.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday January 27, 2022 at Buffalo Baptist Church, Rev. Dennis Mace and Rev. Mackey Turner, officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Cleveland Memorial Park with full military honors.
