Broadus Hugh Morris age 86 of Spindale, NC passed away Sunday February 5^th 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Hattie Connor Morris and his wife Estalene Joyce Smith Morris.

Broadus worked in the textile industry, working as a weaver for Stonecutter and later retired from Mastercraft where he worked in the dye house. He was also a veteran of the US Army having served during the Korean War.

Left to cherish his memories are his son Michael Morris and wife Deborah of Enoree, SC; son Steve Morris and wife Marilyn of Rutherfordton, NC; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM Wednesday February 8, 2017 at Crowe's Funeral Chapel with Rev. Scott Butler officiating. Concluding services with military honors provided by the Rutherford County Veterans Honor Guard will be held at Smith Grove Baptist Church Cemetery following the funeral.
