Brookdale Shelby Assisted Living participated in the 2015 Walk to End Alzheimer's by holding a Pet Photo Contest. Residents, family members, associates and visitors entered photos of their pets and voted for their favorite pets with their dollars and coins during the month of October. Brookdale Shelby raised $516 for the Alzheimer's Association. Fergie, the pet of resident Catherine Spangler, both pictured above, was the contest winner. Roll Over Pet Store supported contest by providing gifts for the winners. The Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's is the world's largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care, support and research.
