Bruce Camp's Local Fishing Report April 12th edition
Kosa
The retirees from Kosa fished Lake Wylie last week. Tom Mayhew and John Rankin picked up the win with a catch of 11.70. They also had the big bass of the day with a 3.70 largemouth. Tony Black and Ned Blanton had 9.75 and claimed second. Third place with 9.70 was Mack Wyatt and Johnny Christainberry.  This week it is back to Lake Norman for the retirees.
Fishing For A Cure-Lake Wylie
The annual Fishing For A Cure tournament was on Lake Wylie last Friday night. Scott Willis and Josh Gardner brought in 20.0 to take the win. Steve Addington and Matt Stout was second with 14.93. David Winters and David Mitchell was a close third with 14.92. Brandon Chandler and Gettys Branon had 14.43 to claim fourth and fifth with 14.06 was Joe Floyd and Aaron Miles.  Big fish went to Robin Cairico and Mike Buschue with a 4.66 largemouth.
PPG
The PPG bass club fished Lake Wylie last week as well. Ronnie Black and Roger Marshall brought in 15.4 to get the win and they also had big bass of the day with a 5.4 largemouth. Evan Edwards and John Brown had 14.7 and landed in second with Tony Jordan and Eric Spurling settling in third with 10.2.
CCBC
The Cleveland County Bass Club had their April event on Lake Wylie last week. Roger Beaver won with 11.82. James Osborne followed with 9.78 and big bass with a 3.72 largemouth. Tom Mayhew had 9.08 and was third with longtime friend John Rankin close in fourth with 9.02. Tammy Melton rounded out the top five with 8.86. The weekly Thursday night Lake Wylie bass tournaments started last week with 28 boats. Jim Davis and Kyle Westman won with 18.82. Second was Ron Farrow and Mike Alman with 14.69.
Moss
The Thursday night weekly bass tournament on Moss Lake saw 15 boats come out last week. Matt Fraser and Chad Taylor picked up the win with 10.50. They also had big bass of the night with a 3.60 largemouth. Arnold Ledford and Brent Shytle brought in 9.81 and were second with, Stacey James and Dustin Green coming in third with 9.67.
