The retirees fished Lakes Norman and Wylie since my last report. On Lake Norman Big John and Little Earl Proctor took the win with 5.03 and they had the big bass as well, 1.86 respectively. JR Garland and Rick Miars was second with 1.63, followed by Linda and John Black with 1.50, thanks to Linda or it would have been a zero. On Lake Wylie, John Black and Roger McNeely grabbed the win with 7.54. Earl and John Proctor had 4.16 and were second, followed by Fred and Mary Wright with 3.36. Big bass was a 2.09 brought in by Earl and John Proctor. Lake Hickory will be up this week.
Again, there's not many turning out for the Sunday afternoon events on Moss Lake, therefore Arnold hasn't called with results.
Coming soon - I am working on a story on good friend and pro angler/Shelby native Matt Arey. Matt is on Lake Guntersville, as I type this, preparing for his first FLW event of the year.
