Bruce Camp's Local Fishing Report June 16th edition
KOSA
The retirees fished Lake Norman last week with a lot of fish caught. John Black and Roger McNeilly got the win with 11.45, followed by JR Garland with 7.55. Tony Black and Ned Blanton had 6.50 and took third. Big bass was a 3.55 spotted bass. This week, the retirees head back to Lake Wylie from 7 am til 1pm.
Ticona
The Ticona bassin bunch fished Lake Wylie last time out with Allen Gamble and Casey Greer bringing in 10.0 and taking the win. David and Mitch Howington had 9.9 and were second. Nick and Debbie Beaver had 9.5 and settled in third. The Beavers also had big bass with a 3.1 largemouth. The Ticona bunch will fish Lake Hickory on June 18 from 5am til 1pm.
Moss
Sixteen boats fished the weekly Thursday night bass tournament on Moss Lake last week. Chet Beam and Les Dulin got first place with 8.66. Brian and Cody Hoyle had 8.23 and took second. Roger and Johnny Guffey were third with 7.38. Big bass was a 3.35 largemouth brought in by Jeff Melton and Glenn Eaves.
Bass Casters
The Bass Casters fished Lake Wylie last Saturday night/Sunday morning. Mitch McCracken picked up the win with 10.9 and Brandon Scarborough came in second with 9.6. Scarborough also had big bass with a 3.12 largemouth. Ricky McKenny took third with 8.11 followed by Randy Scarborough with 7.9. Jared Ward had 6.11 settled in fifth. Next up for th Bass Casters is Lake Hickory on July 24 from midnight til 9 am. The final top ten for the year is: Mitch McCracken, Randy Scarborough, Mark Swink, John Brown, Terry Knight, Brandon Scarborough, Ricky McKenny, Bubba Sprouse, Bobby Winn, Jordan Spangler.
