Kosa
The retirees from Kosa fished Lake Wylie last week with Ronnie Humphries taking the win with 5.20. He also had big bass of the day with a 2.25 largemouth. John Black and Roger McNeilly had 4.80 and landed in second while David O’Shields and JR Henry took third with 3.40. Ask why the weights were do so, John Black summed it up in too words, “windy and tough”. The retirees hope to get back on track this week as they head to Lake Norman.
Moss Lake
Arnold says the 3rd Thursday in March will be the kickoff of the weekly night bass tournaments on Moss Lake. All events will go from 6pm til 9:30 pm and will have a $30 entry fee and that does include the big fish pot. There will be no cut off on teams weekly this year. Teams must fish at least one tournament per month, starting in April to make it to the fish-off.
Bass Casters
The Bass Casters fished Lake Murray last weekend with high hopes going in. Other than Mark Swinks 13.2 catch, the only thing high was the winds and waves. Swink grabbed the win with that 13.2 and he anchored it with a 3.13 largemouth. Terry Knight had 7.0 and was second followed by Bruce Camp with 3.5, Mitch McCracken with 2.4 and John Brown with 1.10. The Bass Casters will fish Lake Hickory March 18 from 7:30 to 3:30.
