Kosa
The Kosa retirees fished Lake Norman last week with the top three all finishing within just over a pound. JR Garland and Rick Maiers had 7.60 and took the win. Ken Johnson and Fred Wright brought in 7.20 and got second. Third with 6.50 was Ronnie Humphries, who also had big bass with a 3.60 largemouth. This week the old timers change their fishing time to 7am -1pm, and they head back to Lake Wylie.
Moss
Twenty-three boats fished last Thursday’s weekly bass tournament on Moss Lake. Chris Carroll and Earl Rice had 7.24 and picked up the win. JR Garland and Ronnie Beason had 6.46, good enough for second. Chuck Camp fished solo and got third with 5.99, followed closely by Randy and Randall Wright with 5.28. Dustin Clay and Clint Smart had 4.76 and rounded out the top five. Big bass was a 3.33 largemouth brought in by Caleb Conner and Chad Sinclair.
