Bruce Camp's Local Fishing Report Nov. 17th edition
Kosa
The Kosa retirees fished Lake Norman last week and man did they send message to many time winners John Black and Roger McNeilly. “We are tired of playing second fiddle”. Mack Wyatt and Johnny Christainberry took the win with 10.20, they anchored that with big fish of the day, a 3.50 largemouth. Tom Mayhew and John Rankin were second with 6.95 followed by Tommy Wess and James Haynes with 6.55. This marked the first time in many weeks, the team of Black and McNeilly were not in the top three and all at the landing let them know about it. Remarks such as, “You know you can weigh in a limit, don’t you?” and “where you gonna get that truck payment this week?”, were all followed by laughter. This week it is back to Lake Wylie and I predict a little payback from Black and McNeilly.
Bass Casters
The Bass Casters club fished Lake Wylie Sunday and Mark Swink picked up the win. He had 9.2 and a 2.15 big bass of the day. Terry Knight had 7.3 and took second, with Tom Gavin in third and had 5.12. Brandon Scarborough had 3.10 and was fourth, Mitch McCracken landed in fifth with 2.2. December the 4th will be the next tournament and it will be on Lake Wateree.
