The retirees have fished several events since I last reported. On Lake Wylie it was JR Garland & Rick Miers 8.6, John Black & Roger McNeely 7.8 with big bass 2.2, David O’Shields & Doug Sparrow 3.6.
Lake Norman, John Black 9.3, David O’Shields & Doug Sparrow 9.1 big bass 4.3, Dean Champion 6.8
Lake Wylie, David O’Shields & Doug Sparrow 7.9 big bass 2.6, J R Garland & Rick Miers 6.5, Tom Mayhew 3.2.
Lake Norman, J R Garland and Rick Miers 7.0, David O’Shields & Doug Sparrow 5.3, John Black & Roger McNeely 5.1 and big bass 2.4.
CCBC
The Cleveland County Bass Club fished Lookout Shoals recently with Maverick Canipe picking up the win with a limit of bass weighing 14.70. John Rankin also had a limit and took second with 14.36, and he also had big bass for the event with a 4.56 largemouth. Jeremy Bouldin had 8.92, also with a limit and was third while fourth went to Roger Beaver with 5.08 and fifth went to Jimmy Melton with 4.72.
